As we celebrate Polish-American Heritage Month

Spotlight on the PACCF: 1971 - 2026

For more than half a century, the Polish American Congress Charitable Foundation (PACCF) has stood as one of the most dedicated philanthropic bridges between the Polish-American community and Poland itself.

Founded in 1971 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit, the PACCF was created to support charitable, scientific, cultural, and educational initiatives that strengthen Polish heritage and uplift communities on both sides of the ocean. Over the decades, the Foundation has delivered more than $ 260 million dollars in charitable assistance, providing medical equipment to hospitals and rehabilitation centers, supporting orphanages and senior homes, and sponsoring cultural and education programs that connect American students with Poland's rich traditions. Its long-running youth cultural exchanges, humanitarian projects, and community partnerships reflect a mission rooted in compassion, service, and cultural pride - making the PACCF a cornerstone of Polish-American charitable life.

The Foundation's efforts reflect a tradition cherished in both nations: the belief that charity is an act of remembrance - a way of honoring ancestors who endured hardship, protected their faith, and carried their identity through war, exile, and rebuilding. Each shipment of medical equipment, each scholarship, each cultural exchange stands as a living tribute to that legacy.

Today, PACCF continues to unite Polish Americans in a shared calling: to serve with dignity, to uplift the vulnerable, and to ensure that the values of the community, courage, and heritage remain vibrant and strong.
