April 2026
Easter and the Dawn of Spring
This year, we celebrate the Blessed Easter holiday on Sunday, April 5th.
Easter arrives just as the world begins to wake again, inviting us into a season of renewal, hope, and quiet transformation. Spring's first blossoms remind us that even after the longest winters, new life always finds its way forward. The Resurrection echoes that same promise - light overcoming darkness, joy rising from sorrow, and grace meeting us right where we are. As the days grow brighter and the earth softens beneath our feet, may we carry that spirit of rebirth into our homes, our work, and our communities, trusting that God is always doing something new.
The Officers and Directors of the PACCF wish you and your families a Blessed Easter 2026.
Wesołych Świąt Wielkanocnych
April 2nd marks the 21st Anniversary of the passing of Pope John Paul II. He was the first non-Italian pope in 455 years and the first from a Slavic country. His pontificate of more than 26 years (1978-2005) was the third longest in history. As part of his effort to promote greater understanding between nations and between religions, he undertook numerous trips abroad, traveling far greater distances than had all previous popes combined. He extended his influence beyond the church by campaigning against political oppression and aided the Solidarity movement in communist Poland in the 1980s and ultimately contributed to the peaceful dissolution of the Soviet Union.
Pope John Paul II was beatified in May, 2011 and canonized as Saint John Paul II on April 27th, 2014.
It’s not too late…
