Celebrating Polish Heritage Year Round

Celebrating Polish Heritage Month shouldn't be confined to just the month of October. It's a vibrant legacy that deserves year-round recognition. By sponsoring and supporting cultural, educational, social and humanitarian activities, the PACCF lives up to our Mission - "The Polish American Congress Charitable Foundation is a public charity that provides charitable, educational and medical assistance to those in need in Poland and in the United States who are of Polish descent."

Whether it's through the offering of scholarships to American college students of Polish descent, underwriting cultural Youth Trips to Poland, providing financial support to organizations in Poland that serve the disabled and provide disaster relief, or supporting cultural events and entities in the U.S. of significance to Polonia, the PACCF strives to preserve and promote the richness of the Polish spirit of giving throughout the year.

The PACCF offers the Majer & Lakowski Family Scholarships and the Richard Gorecki Scholarships each year. The application period begins on January 1st and the Requirements, Application forms, and deadlines are posted here on our website. In 2025 the PACCF awarded over $ 79,000 to deserving students.

The PACCF made a special donation of $ 100,000 U.S. Dollars to Caritas Polska to provide flood relief for the areas hardest hit in Poland

In July 2025 the PACCF sponsored a group of twenty-five (25) students between the ages of 13-15 to participate in the two-week Youth Explorers' Program held at the School of Polish Language and Culture at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.

As just one example of our support of institutions that promote Polish culture here in the U.S., the PACCF has been a Life Heritage Member of the Polish Museum of America since 2020. In addition, we regularly place Ads in their Program Book and attend the annual PMA Gala held each year in June.

For over fifty (50) years the PACCF has been providing financial support to numerous organizations across Poland that serve the physically, visually and psychologically disabled population. Over $ 200,000 in U.S. Dollars is distributed annually. The PACCF Officers make routine visits to Poland to visit those organizations that have been provided with support, as well as organizations seeking our support for the first time. The most recent visit took place in July 2025.

The PACCF is proud and committed to helping promote the richness of Polish culture and spirit of generosity throughout the year. Ongoing engagement not only uplifts the Polish-American community but also strengthens transatlantic ties, ensuring that the spirit of Polish heritage continues to thrive in both the U.S. and Poland.
